A 20 km loop trail travelling around Fanshawe Reservoir. Spectacular views, all kinds of wildlife and a variety of terrain.
The hydroelectric plant at the base of Fanshawe Dam generates enough power to run 300 households.

We will be paddling the Maitland River.
Suitable for both Canoes and Kayak.
Since this is a shallow river you may scrape bottom so keep that in mind if you don‘t like scratches on your boat.

Judy is leading this route on the Nith River - Frog Bridge to Canning. This is a beginner trip for those wanting to be introduced to river running. There will be some swifts in fairly fast water. Come learn how to do these paddles - they are so much fun.

Judy will be leading the second river paddle on the Nith River - Plattsville to Hwy 401. This is an intermediate paddle because there are rapids and often deadfall in the water that has to be maneuvered around. Please let Judy know if you are a beginner,so we can make consessions. This is a beautiful trip.

This social event is open to all LOC members and their guests, regardless of pickleball experience or skill. The emphasis will be on fun and socializing with fellow members. Those new to pickleball will have an opportunity to learn how to play and follow the rules of the game. Paddles and balls will be available for those who don‘t have any equipment. A social will follow for food and drinks.
