As part of the Strengthening the Club initiative, Lambton Outdoor Club is please to offer Red Cross Standard First Aid training with CPR, for Club members at a reduced cost as follows:
$100 subsidy
(eight available)
for Club members who are willing to lead or assist (sweep) activities (hikes, paddles, etc), be on council, help with events, etc (Club Leaders)
$50 subsidy
(ten available)
for any Club member wishing to obtain First Aid certification (Club Members)
$50 subsidy
(eight available)
for Club members who have a current Red Cross First Aid certificate and want to recertify it now (Recertification)
The First Aid Certification classes will be provided by Bluewater First Aid Training Centre Inc, here in Sarnia. A summary of course content is available at First Aid Course Content. You will select a training date that works for you from the Bluewater First Aid Training Centre website.
The course costs (including taxes, before subsidy) are:
$158.20 certificate, in-class (two days in-class)
$135.60 certificate, blended (one day in class after completing online 6 - 8 hour prerequisite)
$113.00 recertification (one day in-class)

We ask that participants complete their course by the end of June. Registration will close at the end of May.
As per Club policy, we do not provide refunds. If you register and are unable to attend, your registration can be transferred to another person.
