Nailing down jello - that's the way I'm feeling about this trip and the ever-changing options.  I had hoped to have final options today but it seems that BoatBikeTours, very sensibly, isn't open on weekends so I couldn't ask some critical questions.

I did look seriously at alternate routes and times to accommodate preferences.  Having accumulated additional information, the outcome is that Dave and I currently leaning toward our original preference...the tulip tour departing on the 15th.  From there we will go to Valkenburg.  

For those of you who prefer a later trip, Nico and Barb are going to do the Valkenburg part, then do the northern/Wadden Sea tour departing on May 6.  You may be interested in joining them.  Their ship is the luxury sailing ship Freya fan something (sorry I didn't write it down and my ride is arriving).  The only reason I'm not changing to that is because the tour is not guided (although there may be an option to hire a guide; I haven't checked yet).

Current status:  I will continue to assess options, so share your thoughts and opinions, or call me with questions.  On Monday morning I will talk to BoatBikeTours.  One of my questions will be can we get the group discount if we happen to be on different boats - we are after all one group, right?
